Coyotes Forward Under Fire For Posting Controversial Video On Social Media
Arizona Coyotes forward Adam Ruzicka is under fire after a questionable decision surfaced on social media.
In a now-deleted Instagram story, Ruzicka was captured with Illegal substance in front of him, raising concerns about his behavior off the ice.
The video, which circulated on X (formerly Twitter), showed Ruzicka setting up a station for the illegal substance before turning the camera towards himself with a smirk, a move likely to draw attention from both the Coyotes and the NHL.
Recently claimed off waivers by the Coyotes from the Calgary Flames, Ruzicka's career with his new team could be in jeopardy due to this incident. Despite playing three games for Arizona, he has yet to make an impact on the scoresheet.
With a history of 14 goals and 40 points in 117 NHL games, his future hangs in the balance as he faces potential repercussions for his actions.
Comparisons have been drawn to
Evgeny Kuznetsov's drug related controversy during the 2019 IIHF World Championships. However, unlike Kuznetsov, Ruzicka's solitary presence with the drug may lead to harsh consequences from both the Coyotes and the league.
