Speculation has been buzzing regarding a possible parting of ways between the Calgary Flames and defenseman Noah Hanifin, especially with the trade deadline looming on March 8th. Hanifin, eyeing free agency next summer, is reportedly looking for a move to a contender, while the Flames navigate an uncertain future.

"Despite the uncertainty, the 27-year-old Hanifin has been putting up solid performances this season, on track to surpass his career-high of ten goals. In 45 games, the Boston native has notched 25 points (eight goals, 17 assists), accumulated 22 penalty minutes, and holds a plus-ten rating.
