Jonathan Toews' latest move has fans convinced he's retired

Jonathan Toews is a beloved player who has three Stanley Cups to his name and has already cemented himself as someone who is going to the Hall of Fame.
However, a couple of years ago, Toews revealed that he would have to step away from the game. After complications from COVID, Toews felt it was the best move for him to simply move on and take some time off. However, at the time, he left the door open for a return.
"My focus is to give myself the time and space to fully heal and enjoy life to the fullest once again. Along the way I have met several people who have struggled with health issues pertaining to long COVID, chronic immune response syndrome, and other similar cases that are quite complex. I now recognize the importance of one day sharing the details of my health journey with you all."
Recently, Toews went to Burning Man and had himself a great time. Having said that, many fans believe this is proof that he is not coming back.
In the comments section of his Burning Man post, fans gave their thoughts on the situation and revealed how much they love of him. Some couldn't help but claim that the star is officially retired. While he hasn't confirmed as such, it does seem like he is more occupied with living his best life right now, which is admirable.
