At Wednesday's Detroit Red Wings practice, tensions reached a boiling point as teammates Ben Chiarot and Lucas Raymond were caught in a heated scuffle, a moment that quickly spread across the internet.

This outburst follows a tough 7-3 defeat to the Buffalo Sabres, marking the team's sixth consecutive loss and pushing them further from playoff hopes.

After the fight, Chiarot and Raymond cooled off, exchanged a few words, and got back to practice.

Patrick Kane Weighs In On The Practice Scuffle

Patrick Kane, the team's star forward, shared his thoughts on the incident, suggesting that the fight isn't necessarily a bad sign.

He argued that frustration can actually be a catalyst for positive change if it's directed properly, whether that means ramping up the intensity in practice or putting extra effort into the next game.

"I don't think it's a bad thing, Kane said. I'd be more worried if we were walking around here all smiles, happy and everything's okay. I think it's good to get a little frustrated as long as you harness it in the right way.

Frustration can create a lot of positive energy as well, whether it's practicicing like you play, or just playing harder tomorrow.»

With the season ticking down and only 17 games left, there's urgent need for improvement. Chiarot and Raymond, in particular, are under the spotlight. Raymond's recent performance has been lackluster, with just a goal, an assist, and a minus-10 rating during the losing streak. Chiarot has also seen a drop in ice time and shares the same minus-10 rating.

The coming games are crucial for the Red Wings. The hope is that this moment of tension can be transformed into a turning point, sparking a resurgence as the team fights for a playoff position.
