Nick Cousins seems to be cementing his status as one of the NHL's most disliked players. Despite being voted the least liked player by his peers earlier this month, he's done little to change that perception. Unlike Brad Marchand, Cousins' pest-like behavior isn't winning him any favors.
Cousins added to his reputation in a less-than-flattering way. During the game against the Buffalo Sabres, he took a dive that even Tim Stutzle would find embarrassing. What's worse is that Cousins quickly got back on his feet and joined the fray when it became clear his acting skills weren't fooling anyone.
Instead of facing his opponent, Cousins opted to jump on Jacob Bryson's back. It's instances like these that make Nick Cousins such an unpopular figure in the league, especially in an era where players with similar antics are often hated.
