Marc-Andre Fleury Pranks Newly Signed Defenseman Zeev Buium on His First Day with the Team

Marc-Andre Fleury's iconic NHL career is winding down, and with the Wild having just one more regular season game remaining, we may have seen the last of the iconic goaltender in the NHL.

While they're still a good chance to make the Stanley Cup Playoffs, it's unclear if we'll ever see him on the ice again as he wraps up a career that has spanned two decades with immense success behind him.

One of the things he'll most be known for is his incredible skills at pranking his teammates, and even at age-40, it appears he hasn't slowed down at all, as he recently pranked rookie Zeev Buium.

Just hours after signing his NHL deal, Buium joined the Wild, and in a very simple move, Fleury pranked him as a 'Welcome to the NHL' moment as told by Buium himself.

According to Zeev, Fleury was kind and told him where to sit during meetings, and a few minutes later, Flower came to join the meeting himself, and when he did, he loudly walked over to Buium and said 'That's my seat'.

It's certainly not as elaborate as other pranks we've heard of from the veteran goaltender, but it's safe to say it was a simple, hilarious one that must have been a major shock to the rookie.

As we know though, Fleury always keeps it light hearted and fun, and while it may have been shocking in the moment, it's likely helped Buium, who wrapped up his NCAA career just days ago get comfortable, and it's a memory he'll likely carry throughout his NHL career.
