Patrik Laine is currently out of the Montreal Canadiens lineup with a pretty brutal injury that threatens to keep him out for most of the season.

While Laine is expected to be back sometime around the beginning of 2025, there is no telling whether or not he is going to be the same player. Your knees are very important in any sport. While he didn't tear an ACL or something dramatic like that, he still suffered a pretty bad injury that anyone would want to steer clear of.
Having said that, Laine has a lot going on right now as he tries to get settled into a new city. He has his fiance Jordan Leigh by his side, and he wants to make Montreal his new home. According to Leigh, it seems like the two got an amazing update on their new place. They have officially moved in and are finally settled.

This is great to see, and it does have the potential to make Laine's recovery an easier one. When you are mentally clear, it is easier to focus on your physical health. We are hoping that Laine is able to recover soon. At the end of the day, he is a dynamic player who has the potential to score 40 goals.
In fact, Laine has vowed that he wants to someday get back to the form he had with the Winnipeg Jets. It is not going to be easy, but it is certainly something we are rooting for.
