Flyers captain Sean Couturier blasts teammates for letting goalie down after embarrassing loss

Tonight, Philadelphia Flyers captain Sean Couturier called out his teammates for an embarrassing performance against the New York Rangers.
The Philadelphia Flyers remain a long shot to make the Stanley Cup Playoffs needing every point they can get heading down the stretch run of the season.
Tonight, the Flyers had a great opportunity against the rebuilding New York Rangers to get two points and keep their playoff hopes healthily alive.
Unfortunately for Flyers fans the team came out flat and the wheels fell off quickly in an embarrassing 6-2 blow out.
After the game, Flyers captain Sean Couturier spoke to the media and made a fiery speech calling out the team for an embarrassing effort in front of goalie Dan Vladar.

During the post game press conference, a frustrated Couturier admitted that he and his teammates threw the game away with their play in front of Vladar.
Yeah definitely he's battled hard for us all year. He's won us big games and we pissed away a game here tonight in front of him. Didn't help him at all we were just awful.
Despite being the captain in Philly, Couturier's future with the Flyers is uncertain at 33-years old some believe he could be traded this summer.
However, with four more season left on his deal, the Flyers could struggle to find a new home for the veteran center.
As the season goes on, it will be interesting to see if Couturier can galvanize the Flyers or if he will lose the locker room after calling out his teammates.
