Kyle Dubas and the Penguins have been in the trade speculation all off-season long, and now Elliotte Friedman has revealed when the big moves could come.
The Pittsburgh Penguins were the centre of so much trade speculation heading into the off-season, with even
Sidney Crosby's name been
thrown into trade rumours after the team's recent struggles that have seen them miss the post-season for three years running.
Penguins Quiet for Now, But Friedman Says Dubas Could Strike Closer to Training Camp
According to Friedman, there's nothing imminent right now, but heading towards training camp when players get back on the ice together and organizations come together, there's a good chance that things heat up for the Penguins.
Unfortunately, that is the time where injuries or struggles in training camp can occur, and while Dubas has very high asking prices as of right now, when that time comes, there could be teams out there ready to meet that price.
For Penguins fans waiting for moves however, don't expect anything anytime soon, as the NHL off-season has continued to be very quiet and boring, but when things heat up once more, expect the Penguins and Kyle Dubas to be right in the thick of the action.
