Franchise legend Marc-Andre Fleury is back with the Pittsburgh Penguins, as he'll play a final game before retiring, and GM Kyle Dubas has welcomed him back with a special statement.

It's official, Marc-Andre Fleury is coming back to the Pittsburgh Penguins, at least for one last game.
Fleury was signed by the Penguins to a professional tryout agreement (PTO) earlier this morning, and it was announced that he'll play in Pittsburgh's preseason game on September 27 against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Penguins GM Kyle Dubas officially welcomed Fleury back into the organization with a special statement, saying that the entire city was honoured to have him back again.
The entire Penguins organization is honored to welcome Marc-Andre Fleury back to the ice in Pittsburgh. This past year everyone witnessed how beloved and respected Marc is in the game of hockey, but the adoration goes beyond his accolades and career. Marc means so much to our team, our fans and the City of Pittsburgh because of the person he is and the example he set. The Penguins feel he and his family are most-deserving of this opportunity to celebrate this full-circle moment back where it all started in front of the black and gold faithful.

Despite playing for multiple other teams, Fleury is still well loved among Penguins fans and will almost certainly have his jersey sweater No. 29 retired at some point in the near future.

Fleury is the 2nd winningest goalie in NHL history

Fleury won 575 games during his NHL career, which is the 2nd most of any goalie in NHL history behind only his boyhood idol Martin Brodeur.
He was taken 1st overall by the Penguins in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, and later led them to the team's 1st Stanley Cup since 1992 in 2009 as their starter.
Fleury won 2 more Stanley Cups with the Penguins, but was backup to Matt Murray both years.
He's also played for the Vegas Golden Knights, Chicago Blackhawks, and Minnesota Wild during his career.
