Penguins goalie Arturs Silovs cherishes "memory of a lifetime" after receiving AHL championship ring

Penguins goalie Arturs Silovs received his Calder Cup Championship ring today from his former team the Vancouver Canucks and reflected on his journey in his former home.
Arturs Silovs arrived in Pittsburgh this summer after a trade shipped him from the Vancouver Canucks to the Penguins.
The Penguins decided to acquire Silovs after he went on a historic run with the Canucks AHL team in Abbotsford capturing the Calder Cup.
Silovs was named the MVP of the finals cementing his legacy in the Canucks organization even after his departure.
Now, many months later, Silovs finally received his championship ring and gave some heartwarming remarks about his time with the Canucks organization.

With the Penguins in Vancouver to face off against the Canucks, Silovs was finally able to receive his championship ring.
After receiving the ring, Silovs complimented the Canucks organization and called the playoff run a memory of a lifetime.
It was great. Really nice to have it. Great experience with the team back then. Just remembering how we battled every single game to get there. It's a memory for life.
Silovs this season since landing in Pittsburgh has a 3.00 goals against average and a 0.894 save percentage in 23 appearances with the Penguins.
With that special moment behind him now, Silovs will look to take down his former club in his return to Vancouver for the first time as a visitor.
As of now, it is unknown whether or not Silovs will get the opportunity to be the starter in his return to Vancouver or if he will serve as the backup.
