Sidney Crosby closing in on another all-time NHL scoring milestone

Sidney Crosby's continued dominance at the age of 38 is nothing short of incredible and currently has the Penguins in the Stanley Cup Playoff race.

Crosby this season has an unbelievable 26 goals and 56 points in 49 games putting him near the top of the league in multiple categories.

Even more impressive, Crosby's 26 goals in his age 38 season has him within striking distance of a new NHL record once again.

With 26 goals, Crosby currently sits 12th in goals by any player in their age 38 season and with 30 games left in the season could eclipse the all-time record set by Brett Hull.

Crosby currently sits just 11 goals away from tying Hull and with so many games left barring disaster is on an incredible pace to pass the record.

Assuming Crosby is able to stay healthy he will have 30+ games to secure just 12 goals the rest of the season to set a new all-time mark and put himself once again at the forefront of the record books.

At the end of the day, winning is what matters this season for Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins but to do so he will need to continue producing and likely conquer this impressive feat.

As the games go on, it will be fun to see Crosby try and tackle this record and likely a long list of others before game 82 concludes.
