Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid had lots to say about Pittsburgh Penguins captain and Team Canada Olympics teammate Sidney Crosby ahead of their game in Edmonton tomorrow night.

Tomorrow night will be the second meeting of the year between the Edmonton Oilers and Pittsburgh Penguins since the blockbuster December trade that sent Tristan Jarry and Sam Poulin to the Oilers for Stuart Skinner and Brett Kulak.
It will also be the second matchup between future Team Canada teammates Sidney Crosby and Connor McDavid before the Olympics start next month.
After practice today, McDavid said that he appreciates how much Crosby simply loves the game.
He loves it, loves playing, loves competing, seems like he loves everything about it. And when you love it, it's pretty easy to show up and work and continue to get better even at his age. As I say, it's amazing to see what he's doing again this year, amazing to watch.....I go back to how much he loves it, loves practice, loves being at the rink and working at his game. He really has an appreciation for it and that's contagious, obviously. - Connor McDavid
The Oilers won 6-4 in Pittsburgh last month shortly after the major trade, and want to beat Pittsburgh for a second time and rebound from last night's 2-1 loss to the New Jersey Devils.

Penguins Captain Sidney Crosby Is Excited For The Olympics

After both Crosby and McDavid were officially confirmed to be on Canada's roster for the Olympics, Crosby expressed his excitement.
It's come pretty quick. You know, I think that there's probably been a lot of talk surrounding it, so it's good to have the team made and, you know, be able to kind of focus on all the things we need to leading up to it. But yeah, it's exciting to see the names on that list and to know that it's getting closer. - Sidney Crosby

It will be the first time since 2014 that NHL players will represent their respective countries in the Olympics.
