The Penguins had an upset victory last night, defeating the Vegas Golden Knights 3-2 in overtime.
Jarry made 35 saves in the win, as the Penguins got out-shot 37-17.
Erik Karlsson, who won the player of the game helmet, even noted that he would give it back to Jarry if he could.
After last night's game, Penguins captain Sidney Crosby commented on his form, noting that he was the reason the team won.
He also talked about what Jarry has gone through this season, being demoted to the AHL and having to earn his way back.
He said that the way he has responded shows what kind of a player he is.
"It's not an easy situation, whether it's losing or being in the position he was in. As a goalie, there is so much pressure and so much expectations,» Sidney Crosby said. «I think being put in that situation, going to Wilkes, coming back, responding the way he has says a lot about him and his work ethic and his willingness to keep working and battle through it. He's done a great job of it, and we're all definitely happy for him."
With the two recent wins, Jarry is now up to a 10-8-4 record in 23 starts this season.
He has a goals-against-average of 3.15 and a save percentage of .891.
In the two games since his return, he's made 64 saves on 67 shots for a .955 save percentage to go along with 3.79 goals saved above expected and even an assist!
If he played like this all season, the Penguins could be in a very different position right now.
