The Penguins Make A Shocking Move Placing Veteran Forward On Waivers
The Pittsburgh Penguins have caught the hockey world off guard with their latest move, placing forward Colin White on waivers.
Veteran forward and former first-round pick Colin White has been waived by the Pittsburgh Penguins, as confirmed by Elliotte Friedman today.
«Colin White (PIT) on waivers,» Friedman reported.
Drafted 21st overall by the Ottawa Senators in 2015, White has since seen his fair share of team changes, culminating in this unexpected move by the Penguins.
Now available to all NHL teams at no cost, White's future hinges on whether he clears waivers. If unclaimed, he will likely be assigned to the AHL.
