Following a clean hit from Bruins' Parker Wotherspoon, Maroon wastes no time dropping the gloves and challenging him, resulting in a decidedly one-sided bout.

I am once again begging NHL players to stop forcing fights after clean hits

Maroon not only seized the initiative against Wotherspoon but essentially left him without a chance. After all, this is Maroon's forte and a key reason for his enduring presence in the league.

Reacting to the aftermath of the hit, Maroon swiftly took on the rookie defender, who only has 17 games under his belt in the National Hockey League.
