In a nail-biter of a game where the Philadelphia Flyers were clinging to a lead against the Chicago Blackhawks, all eyes were on star rookie Connor Bedard as he tirelessly worked to rally his team. However, it was a fiery brawl early in the third period that really sent sparks flying and amped up the game's intensity.

Flyers' defenseman Nick Seeler and Blackhawks' forward Reese Johnson were at the center of the storm, dropping the gloves for a heated exchange of punches that had them tussling on the ice until officials stepped in to break it up. The fight was so intense, it was hard to keep track of all the action!
Charlie Roumeliotis, a well-known Blackhawks insider, pointed out post-fight that this wasn't the first time Seeler and Johnson had squared off. He recalled a past incident where the two had a similar confrontation during a team scrimmage a few years back, hinting that this latest clash might have been the culmination of some unresolved tension.
Seeler, who wore a Blackhawks jersey from 2019 to 2022 and appeared in just six games, making a minimal impact with only one assist, found himself in a familiar face-off with Johnson. Johnson, who joined the Blackhawks as an undrafted free agent, had his debut season with the team in 2020-21. In just five appearances, he didn't score a point but racked up nine penalty minutes – including those from his scrimmage scuffle with Seeler.
Their on-ice history added an extra layer of intensity to Wednesday night's showdown, turning it into a memorable moment of the game.
