Alex Galchenyuk shares what's next for him, now that his NHL career may be over
The Arizona Coyotes terminated the contract of Alex Galchenyuk in mid-July, just weeks after signing the deal. As details emerged about his arrest, it appeared very likely that Galchenyuk's NHL career may be over. Many figured that no team in their right mind would take a chance on Gally.
Today Galchenyuk made the announcement that he'd signed a multi-year contract to continue his hockey career. However, his career will not continue in North America.

This multi-year deal will take Galchenyuk out of the NHL for two years and will leave him on the wrong side of thirty. If Galchenyuk is unable to light up the KHL, chances of an NHL return decrease exponentially.
