Arizona Coyotes terminate the contract of a 29-year-old forward
Earlier this week the Arizona Coyotes made the decision to place a 29-year-old forward on unconditional waivers.
According to CapFriendly, the Coyotes placed Jean-Sebastien Dea on unconditional waivers for the purpose of terminating his contract. The 29-year-old is entering the final year of a two-year contract he signed with Arizona last summer.
"Arizona #Yotes have placed forward Jean-Sébastien Dea on unconditional waivers for the purpose of contract termination.
Dea is in the final year of a 2 year contract."
It is likely that Dea will make the decision to take his talents overseas to continue his hockey career. Dea, is a native of Laval, Quebec. Last season he played in 67 games for the Tucson Roadrunners of the AHL. He put up 23 goals and 27 assists, 42 penalty minutes and was a minus-22.
He also appeared in four games for the Coyotes, but didn't record any points.
