BREAKING: NFL Mandates Gary Bettman and NHL to Reschedule Critical Games
A recent decision from the NFL and the state of New York has prompted the NHL to reshuffle a couple of crucial games in their season.
NFL's Move Forces Bettman and NHL to Adjust Key Game Schedules
Earlier today, news broke that the NFL had to reschedule the Buffalo Bills matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers to Monday afternoon due to high winds and a travel ban in Buffalo during the original Sunday afternoon game time.
This unexpected shift led the NHL to face a challenging decision. With both the Buffalo Sabres and Pittsburgh Penguins originally scheduled to play during the rescheduled NFL game, Commissioner Bettman and the NHL had to make a call. Instead of risking a drop in attendance and TV viewership, they opted to rearrange the hockey games to new times that don't clash with the NFL.
Now, with these adjustments, each of these cities will have a hockey appetizer before their NFL Playoff matchups against each other. The hope is that all three games will live up to expectations.
