After their long road trip to begin the season, excitement in Chicago has been brewing for Bedard's first home game with the Blackhawks. Not long into the game, Bedard lived up to the hype.
Minutes into tonight's first period against the Vegas Golden Knights, Taylor Hall set Bedard up with the clean look on net with the team on the powerplay - and Bedard nailed the opportunity.
Bedard had the time and was able to perfectly execute a clean shot past Adin Hill. Showing this lethality with time and space, teams around the league may beginning to take note on how to defend against Bedard.
