One of the most recognizable voices in hockey is Bruins' play-by-play announcer Jack Edwards. Whether you love or hate him is usually decided by if you're a Bruins fan or not, but now, even Bruins fans are seeing the need to replace Edwards.
Looking through several tweets from Bruins fans, Edwards' latest troubling segment has fans wanting him to retire.
It's concerning to hear how laboured Edwards' speech has become through the play by play. Fans still love him and what he's called in the history of the Bruins, but everyone likes to see the end of a career be on a high note.
Whatever the case is, we can hope that the Bruins organization honours Edwards and does right by him in the transition to a new broadcaster.
