Fans Are Furious With Gary Bettman Over Recent Move
As the NHL kicks off its Global Series in Sweden, promising an exciting week of games, fans were eagerly anticipating witnessing NHL action in this unique setting.
However, to the dismay of many viewers outside Ottawa, TSN blacked out coverage of the first Global Series game between the Senators and Red Wings. Agent Allan Walsh didn't hold back, taking a shot at the league for this oversight.
Walsh aptly highlighted the contradiction in the blackout, emphasizing that it seems nonsensical when the league aims to expand its global appeal while TV providers limit fan access.
The hope now is that upcoming Global Series games will have broader national broadcasts, allowing more North American fans to enjoy watching their favorite teams compete in a country known for its passionate hockey culture.
