Former first round pick claimed, 45 more players placed onwaivers

Today it was announced Lassi Thomson, the former Ottawa Senators first round pick had been claimed by the Anaheim Ducks according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.

A total of 45 players have been placed on waivers on Sunday afternoon. Let's take a look:

The waiver priority order is based off of last season's standings in reverse. The Anaheim Ducks will have the first crack at placing a claim on any of the players above, followed by the Columbus Blue Jackets and Chicago Blackhawks.

If any of the players above go unclaimed on Monday afternoon, they'll be assigned to their respective teams American Hockey League affiliate.
