Patrick Kane Meets With A Surprising Team From The Atlantic Division
Reports from NHL Insider John Shannon indicate that Patrick Kane has been spotted training with a Canadian team, raising speculation about his potential return.
The free-agent forward was seen in Oakville, Ontario, giving fans a hint about the hockey club he may have met with.
Rumors suggest that Kane might have had discussions with the Toronto Maple Leafs during his training. However, his agent, Pat Brisson, clarified that contract talks won't happen until Kane is prepared to make his NHL comeback.
The prospect of a Kane and Matthews duo on the ice is intriguing, especially if Kane is in better health than last season. In the previous season, playing for the Chicago Blackhawks and New York Rangers, Kane tallied 21 goals and 36 assists for a total of 57 points in 73 games.
The potential of a healthy Kane joining a new team adds excitement to the upcoming NHL season.
