An NHL prospect's journey is different for all, but many will face peaks and valleys along the way. For St. Louis Blues prospect Dalibor Dvorsky things haven't been going great in his first season of SHL hockey. In 10 games, Dvorsky had zero points, with his ice timing falling to 1:35 and 0:44 over the past two games.

There's still plenty of time for him to develop, and it appears his team wants to make sure it's done properly. The St. Louis Blues have announced that 10th overall pick in 2023, Dalibor Dvorsky, has terminated his contract with Oskarshamn IK of the Swedish Hockey League. He's being sent to the Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League to further his development.

Dvorsky is known for his quick release, high offensive IQ and ability to use his large frame in battles along the boards or to protect pucks. Selected 10th overall in the 2023 draft, Dvorsky should be able to get more playing time with a very good Sudbury Wolves team who are expected to go far this season. Sudbury will have to make changes to get Dvorsky in the lineup as the team already has the maximum of two import players.
