Tomas Tatar is one of the top names remaining on the free agent market. Tatar is one of the few true goal scorers available on the market and could provide a team additional secondary scoring. With Tatar unsigned, insiders are beginning to speculate that the famously secretive Lou Lamoriello has possibly added Tatar to his roster. Lou has a history of keeping things secret until the last possible moment and Stefen Rosner believes that could be what's happening here.
With Islanders' veterans in Zach Parise and Cal Clutterbuck seeming unlikely to play this season due to potential retirement and injury respectively, perhaps a signing of Tatar could be a good fit for the Islanders.
