Madeline Gaudreau pens heartbreaking letter to Matthew & their unborn child

Now, the entire family is in mourning and are looking to figure out how to move forward. This is certainly true of Madeline Gaudreau, the wife of Matthew. She is set to give birth later this year, and now, she must raise her baby boy without a father. While taking to Instagram over the weekend, Madeline penned a heartfelt letter to Matthew, while also reiterating her love for her unborn baby.

This is a horrific loss and we cannot imagine what the Gaudreaus are going through. Recently, a GoFundMe was made for Madeline and so far, it has raised $500K. We hope that this goes a long way in helping her raise her son.

Our condolences to the entire Gaudreau family. The hockey community has shown them a whole lot of love as of late. Hopefully, they feel the entire hockey world behind them as they go through the grieving process.
