Marc-André Fleury just landed another honor, and for Pittsburgh Penguins fans it feels personal, a full-circle QMJHL Hall of Fame moment.

The QMJHL's Hall of Fame class of 2026 is now out, with Fleury headlining the group.
The announcement lists Donald Audette, David-Alexandre Beauregard, Fleury, and Jean-Marc Richard as the player inductees.
It also includes Jacques Tanguay as a builder, a reminder that leagues run on more than goals and saves.
The ceremony is set for September, which gives the whole thing a nice back-to-school vibe for junior hockey.
For Penguins readers, this one lands differently because Fleury's story starts long before the yellow pads in Pittsburgh.
He was the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles' backbone in the QMJHL, learning the chaos of high-event hockey between the pipes.
In 2001-02 alone, he logged 55 games with a 2.78 goals-against and a .915 save percentage, the kind of workload that forges habits.

Marc-André Fleury and Pittsburgh Penguins memories still hit

Pens fans still smile at the "Flower" era, and there's a warm stubborn pride in seeing his junior roots get the spotlight.
That junior grind matters, because it's where the rebound control, the battle level, and the calm after chaos get built.
You can draw a straight line from Cape Breton's busy nights to how Fleury handled traffic, broken plays, and second chances later on.
This induction also shares the stage with Audette, Beauregard, and Richard, which makes it feel like a true league-wide celebration.
And it's another entry in the long history of the LHJMQ honoring the stars who made the league what it is.
September will be the moment the speeches happen, but today is the part where Penguins fans get to nod and say, yep, that tracks.
