Patrik Laine is entering his first season with the Montreal Canadiens and fans are eager to see what he can do and if he gets back to his old ways.
This week, Laine is officially in Montreal for training camp. The team will be looking to have a huge year as they continue to build on their young roster. Having said that, Laine did a great thing as he took the time to speak to with a young kid who runs a YouTube channel called "Jake's Takes."
In this episode of the podcast, Laine answered who are the toughest guys to play against in the entire NHL. As you will see, he said that it is none other than Victor Hedman and Connor McDavid.
«I would say Victor Hedman just because of how good he is. He's so fast, so big, so strong and so good with his stick. He's a nightmare to play against.»
«There's also obviously Connor McDavid. There's nothing you can do about him! When he picks up the puck in his zone, all you can do is pray he doesn't score!»
These are some pretty good reasons and we're sure there are plenty of guys throughout the NHL who would agree with this assessment. Only time will tell whether or not Laine proves to be a top 5 goal scorer this season. He has a lot of work today.
