Vladimir Tarasenko signs 2 year contract with Detroit Red Wings
Vladimir Tarasenko officially signed a 2 year contract with the Detroit Red Wings after rumors he was signing with Pittsburgh surfaced.
Today Vladimir Tarasenko, a two-time Stanley Cup winner, signed a two-year contract with the Detroit Red Wings worth $4.75 million annually. The deal came hours after rumors circulated that Tarasenko would be signing with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The #RedWings today signed forward Vladimir Tarasenko to a two-year contract with an AAV of $4.75M.
Last season Tarasenko played for the Ottawa Senators and the Florida Panthers, where he scored 23 goals and 32 assists in 76 games during the 2023-2024 season. The Red Wings are hoping that Tarasenko's experience and scoring ability will help the team end their playoff drought.
