Colorado Avalanche Star Has Officially Been Traded To Conference Rival
Despite High Hopes, Tomas Tatar's Stint with Colorado Avalanche Ends in Disappointment
The Colorado Avalanche had high expectations when they signed Tomas Tatar this summer, envisioning an added scoring threat to their already deep lineup. Unfortunately, things didn't pan out for either Tatar or the Avalanche.
Tatar, who signed a one-year contract worth one and a half million after scoring 20 goals last season, found himself traded to the Seattle Kraken after just 27 games.
The announcement came as the Avalanche decided to part ways with the forward, receiving a fifth-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft in exchange for Tomas Tatar.
In his 27 games with Colorado, Tatar managed only 1 goal and 7 assists, marking a disappointing chapter in his career.
