Nashville Predators trade for 6'4 and 210 pound defender
On Tuesday afternoon, the Detroit Red Wings and Nashville Predators got together to finalize a deal.
The Nashville Predators have acquired defenseman Andrew Gibson from the Detroit Red Wings in exchange for Finnish winger Jesse Kiiskinen and a 2024 second round pick, according to a social media report by @PuckReportNHL.

Gibson, 19, recently finished his third OHL season with the Soo Greyhounds, where he was a plus-36 in 68 games, finished with 44 points (12 goals, 32 assists), and 58 penalty minutes. In 11 playoff games, he added two assists.
The 18-year-old Kiiskinen played in the 2023�24 Liiga season for the Lahti Pelicans, where he recorded eight penalty minutes, ten points (six goals, six assists), and a minus-one rating in 36 games.
