Chicago Blackhawks head coach Luke Richardson provided an update on rising star Connor Bedard, revealing the young player's eagerness to return to the game despite the ongoing recovery. Richardson mentioned that the 18-year-old is actively engaging with the team's medical staff.

"They initially said 6-8 weeks, so I'm not sure where we're at now, probably still four-plus weeks. He's going to bother the trainers, hang around every day, and ask why he can't play. He really wants to play," Richardson shared.

Richardson's remarks underscore Bedard's strong commitment to hockey, a trait he has consistently displayed. However, the question arises: is his enthusiasm too much?

Blackhawks forward Nick Foligno weighed in on the situation, revealing that the trainers sought his assistance in managing Bedard's eagerness to skate due to his ongoing recovery from a jaw injury.

"He's dying. It's pretty funny. I'm like, 'Man, just pump the brakes a little bit.' But that's who he is. That's why you love him," Foligno commented.

Indeed, Bedard's passion for the game makes him stand out in his own unique way.
