Mike Sullivan's Main Focus in First Season With Rangers Revealed

The New York Rangers have some high expectations heading into the new NHL season, and with new Head Coach Mike Sullivan behind the bench, it's easy to see why there's optimism around this talented roster.

With the likes of Artemi Panarin, Igor Shesterkin and Adam Fox leading the way, there's still amazing talent in New York, and now it's Sullivan's job to bring out the best in them.

However, his focus now is on the latter, with a recent report revealing that one of his key focuses heading into training camp is putting the veteran defenseman in the best position to succeed.

This comes on the back of a season in which Fox took plenty of criticism for his play, especially in the Four Nations Faceoff for Team USA, but at the end of the season, the numbers once again looked fantastic.

With a new partner on the blue line after Ryan Lindgren was traded last season, Fox can still be one of the best defenseman in the NHL on both ends of the ice, and if Sullivan can get him back to the Norris Trophy level we've seen him play at before, there's no doubting that he can help lead this team back to the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
