The Pittsburgh Penguins have plenty of moves to make in the summer, and now one analyst has suggested a trade for Nicolas Hague may be the move.

After another tough season in Pittsburgh, the Penguins have a very interesting summer ahead, leaving Kyle Dubas to decide what the direction of this team will be moving forward.
There are several options for that, as the team can target talented and experienced veterans that could help them get back into the Stanley Cup Playoffs, or they could look to bring in young talent and move out veterans that can help them for the future.
According to analyst Rick Buker of Penguin Poop, they could do both by targeting RFA Nicolas Hague, who the team had a chance to draft back in 2017, and now, the 26-year old may be an option again as the Golden Knights potentially look to move him to clear up some salary cap space before having to hand him an extension.
The 26-year old has scored just 12 points in each of the past two years with the Golden Knights, but standing at 6-foot-6, he may just be the physical presence the Penguins blue line has been searching for over the past few years, and after standing up for his team in the post-season, he brings the passion that this team desperately needs.
Given that Pittsburgh have immense amount of draft picks in the next few years, they can likely give up a few to land Hague from the Golden Knights, and if they use their salary cap space wisely, there's no reason why this team can't be back in the Stanley Cup Playoffs in 2026.
