Pittsburgh Penguins forward Bryan Rust joined some elite company in franchise history in today's 5-0 win over the Vegas Golden Knights at PPG Paints Arena.

Today, the Pittsburgh Penguins continued their impressive year with a 5-0 win over the visiting Vegas Golden Knights at PPG Paints Arena.
They now have points in all three games since the resumption of the schedule after the Olympics, and are doing it without captain Sidney Crosby, who was ruled out for the next four weeks late last month because of an injury he suffered against Team Czechia.
During today's win over the Golden Knights, Penguins forward Bryan Rust made team history by scoring 20 goals for the seventh straight year, and became the eighth player in team history to do so.

So far this year, Rust has 42 points (20G, 22A) in 52 games.

Bryan Rust Was Rumored To Be On The Move Multiple Times

Before this season started, Penguins GM Kyle Dubas was reportedly trying to find a trade partner for Rust along with other Penguins players like Rickard Rakell and Erik Karlsson.
But no trade partner emerged, and all three players began the year still wearing a Penguins sweater.
Because of how well they've played this season, much better than just about all fans and analysts thought they would, they would end their playoff drought if the postseason were to begin today.
