Tonight, a new report from NHL insider Frank Seravalli has indicated that the Pittsburgh Penguins could consider trading four veterans at the NHL trade deadline.
The Pittsburgh Penguins finally snapped a 7 game losing streak last night on a historic night for Sidney Crosby.
Even with the win, the Penguins have struggled immensely and now find themselves outside of the Stanley Cup Playoffs looking in as Christmas approaches.
With the Penguins playoff chances now uncertain, insider Frank Seravalli believes the team could look to be sellers at the NHL trade deadline to help the organization build for the future.
Frank Seravalli indicates Penguins could look to trade four veterans
In a new appearance on the Big Show, NHL insider Frank Seravalli spoke about Kyle Dubas' plans heading into the trade deadline.
Seravalli believes that both Stuart Skinner and Brett Kulak could be flipped depending on their play and that at least one of Rickard Rakell or Bryan Rust will be in consideration for a trade as well.

If the Penguins continue to fall down the standings after the holiday they will likely pivot to the future and look to trade players on expiring contracts.
Stuart Skinner seems like the most likely candidate to go first on account of the Penguins incredible depth in goal.
As the season continues, it will be interesting to see who Dubas makes available in trades and who he decides to keep.
