The Pittsburgh Penguins have a clear plan under Kyle Dubas, and with the most draft picks in the NHL over the next three years, they are stocked full of assets to go in any direction they want moving forward.
However, that doesn't mean the team won't be aggressive in trying to load up for the near future, with the Athletic now giving several reasons as to why the team would make sense as a landing destination for superstar forward Mitch Marner.
The Penguins are going to have a ton of salary cap room this summer, upwards of $25 million, and some trades could make that number even higher.
