Jaromir Jagr's Latest Move Has Sidney Crosby Buzzing
Former Penguins legend Jaromir Jagr has just released an autobiography, which has got Sidney Crosby, Ron Francis, and other stars very excited to read it.
The team was 34-36-12 last year when they did not make the playoffs for the third consecutive year.
Crosby, in the first year of his two-year, $17.4 million contract, is ageless. With 90-plus points in each of his last three seasons, he continues to defy time and expectation.
Sidney Crosby could very well surpass Jaromir Jagr in total NHL points
Coincidentally, Czech and Penguins legend Jagr has just published his autobiography at home in Czechia, and it's already causing ripples throughout the whole hockey universe.
North American household names such as Crosby, Ron Francis, and NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman have all issued Jagr congratulatory messages, thanking him for an incredible career and everything that he has contributed to the game.
The three are reportedly eagerly awaiting the English edition when it comes out, and cannot wait to read it.
For Crosby, who grew up idolizing Jagr and now fights alongside him for a place in hockey history, it's a nice full-circle experience. They each embody eras of the Penguins' greatness, measured by skill, leadership, and determination.
With each ascent up the all-time scoring list for Crosby, his mind doesn't depart from the ice; he directs his team, pursuing another Stanley Cup, and continuing to build on an already nearly timeless legacy.
