Kyle Dubas provides latest details on Sidney Crosby's return to the Penguins lineup

This afternoon, Penguins GM Kyle Dubas spoke to the media and gave an update on Sidney Crosby's highly anticipated return to game action.
The Pittsburgh Penguins have been without Sidney Crosby for several weeks after he suffered an injury as a result of a dirty hit from Radko Gudas at the Olympic Games.
Crosby tried to play in the gold medal game at the Olympics but was held out with what would eventually be confirmed as an MCL sprain.
Now, Crosby has returned to practice and Kyle Dubas has confirmed when Crosby is expected to be back in the lineup.
Kyle Dubas gives a major update on Sidney Crosby's return timeline
During an interview with EJ Hradek and Dan Rosen of NHL Network, Dubas confirmed that Crosby will not return tonight against the Avalanche but he is close to game action.
While some thought Crosby would be back tonight and might be disappointed by this news, Dubas and the Penguins seem to be happy with Crosby's progress.
In his absence, the Penguins have played well and stayed in the Stanley Cup Playoff race keeping hopes of more playoff action for Crosby and Evgeni Malkin alive.
While Crosby won't return, Malkin will be in the lineup as he is reinstated from his suspension.
As Malkin returns, the Penguins sit at 81 points just 2 points ahead of the first team out of the Stanley Cup Playoffs the Columbus Blue Jackets.
After tonight's game, all eyes will turn to the Penguins next game against the Hurricanes on Wednesday as the next opportunity for Crosby to return.
