In some very unfortunate news, Steve Reich, the former player agent of Mario Lemieux, has sadly passed away at the age of 64.
"The Penguins join so many in the hockey world mourning the loss of NHL agent, Steve Reich," the Penguins said in a statement. "Steve was a staple in Pittsburgh sports, representing some of the biggest names in Penguins' history, including Mario Lemieux, Ron Francis, and Tom Barrasso. Our thoughts are with is family, friends, and clients that were fortunate to call Steve a friend."

On Sunday, Reich passed away at 64 years old after he experienced a heart attack while playing golf with friends at South Hills Country Club, based on his Ever Loved obituary.
Reich was born in Washington, D.C., and grew up in Pittsburgh, where he attended Chartiers Valley High School from which he graduated in 1979.
He went on to study English Literature at Bucknell University before returning home to study law at the University of Pittsburgh.
Reich began his career as an agent for sports in 1987 and served as president of RBRT Sports Group in 1993. Over the years, he developed a reputation for representing some of the most notable NHL stars.
He is survived by his wife, Tanya, children Arlene, Jack, and Estelle, father Sam, sister Hillary, and brother Joe.
A memorial service is being conducted this week at Rodef Shalom in Pittsburgh.
His family said in lieu of flowers, "Steve would have wanted you to spend time with your friends or family over some tasty treats."
We extend our deepest condolences to all of Steve's family and friends.
