NHL Reveals New Information About the Penguins' Global Series in Sweden
The NHL has revealed some new details regarding the Penguins' upcoming Global Series in Sweden, as many activities will now be featured that weekend.
In addition to the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Nashville Predators regular-season games at Avicii Arena on Friday, Nov. 14 and Sunday, Nov. 16, hockey fans can take part in a weekend of hockey-themed activities and live entertainment throughout the city.
They include the NHL Global Fan Tour in Kungsträdgården, an Open Practice, and a headline concert with Bolaget at Hovet.
The NHL Global Fan Tour will be open from Nov. 14-16 daily, with interactive skill zones, photo opportunities with the Stanley Cup, player appearances, and official NHL merchandise. Admission will be free.
Then, on Saturday, Nov. 15, Open Practice at Avicii Arena is a unique, family-friendly opportunity to see NHL players get ready in advance of Sunday's game.
Tickets can be found at LiveNation.se for Penguins fans interested in making the journey over to Europe.
Later that evening, Swedish chart-toppers Bolaget play Hovet as part of the weekend activities. With their high-energy live performances and record-breaking streaming figures, they add a big live music component to the proceedings.
Penguins fans can now purchase additional tickets that have just been released
Extra tickets to both Predators vs. Penguins games at Avicii Arena have also been made available and can be purchased at LiveNation.se, as they had sold out fairly quickly before.
The Global Series weekend will combine elite-level hockey with fan participation and live entertainment to make an international spectacle of the sport in the center of Stockholm.
