With new coach Dan Muse wanting to play more minutes to younger players, Acciari might have a battle on his hands to get in once he gets past full-contact practice.
The Penguins are familiar with having early injury issues, and the health of depth pieces such as Acciari and Blomqvist might come into play as the team attempts to get its roster sorted out heading into the regular season.
