The Penguins have unveiled their roster for tonight's preseason tilt against the Blue Jackets, and they are going with quite a youthful roster, as veterans will sit.

Face-off time is 7:00 PM ET, with live streaming video on nhl.com/penguins or on the Penguins' flagship radio station, 105.9 "The X."
At forward, the Penguins will feature a combination of prospects and depth wingers such as Ville Koivunen, Philip Tomasino, Connor Dewar, and Blake Lizotte.
Forwards such as Aidan McDonough, Filip Hallander, Tristan Broz, and Justin Brazeau will have the opportunity to shine as they compete for roster spots.
On defense, Jack St. Ivany, Sebastian Aho, Connor Clifton, and Caleb Jones lead the way, with Alexander Alexeyev, Philip Kemp, and Quinn Beauchesne providing support alongside. Between the pipes, Filip Larsson and Arturs Silovs will share time.

The Penguins' Top Stars Will Not Be Playing in Tonight's Game

Most of the team's veterans, such as Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and Bryan Rust, will be sitting this one out.
The Penguins are also holding a Thursday morning scrimmage at 9:30 AM at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex, open to the public and free.
Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and Kris Letang are some of the stars who will be on display as the team is split in half.
Crosby, Bryan Rust, Robby Fabbri, and Matt Dumba will play for Team 1, and Malkin, Rickard Rakell, Anthony Mantha, and Erik Karlsson will play for Team 2. Goaltenders Tristan Jarry and Joel Blomqvist will also get some playing time.
These scrimmages and preseason games are also a fine chance for the Penguins to assess young players, try out line combinations, and develop chemistry prior to the start of the regular season.
