Kyle Dubas has a plan this offseason to get his team a lot younger, and that includes in net also, as top goalie prospect Sergei Murashov could be their answer.

Sergei Murashov continued to roll with his top-notch AHL campaign, advancing to 8-0-0 as the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins defeated the Hershey Bears 5-4 in a shootout on Wednesday.
The 20-year-old goalie made 31 of 35 saves in regulation and overtime before shutting out all five Hershey shooters during the shootout.
His strong effort helped the Penguins continue their positive streak while further solidifying himself as one of the league's top young netminders.
Murashov presently boasts a .925 save percentage and a 2.34 goals-against average in his eight games in the AHL.

Murashov set a franchise record for consecutive wins

His eight-game winning streak set a new Wilkes-Barre/Scranton franchise record for the longest undefeated start by a goaltender, besting the previous record of six.
His composure in stressful situations and ability to deliver when it matters most make him an easy fit within the Penguins' system.
In front of him, Ville Koivunen scored first with his season-best 20th goal of the season, and Rutger McGroarty scored his 13th on the power play.
Mathias Laferriere and Avery Hayes got on the score sheet as well and McGroarty recorded an eight-shot performance, a season-best for the rookie.
Valtteri Puustinen and Jack St. Ivany each registered two assists, and Chase Stillman earned his first point as a Penguin since being acquired in the Cody Glass trade.
With Pittsburgh GM Kyle Dubas placing an emphasis on youth players, Murashov's quality play could potentially rush him to the NHL.
The Penguins' goalie situation of late has been a rollercoaster, and with Dubas seeking long-term solutions, Murashov is a candidate to occupy the crease sooner rather than later.
His smooth transition to the pro level and the potential to win games for his squad suggests that he is likely a top choice to replace one of Pittsburgh's current goaltenders in the near future.
Tristan Jarry, Alex Nedjelkovic, and Joel Blomqvist do not appear to be the answer long-term for Pittsburgh. Murashov's brilliance in goal again stole the spotlight, raising more questions about how soon he'll be making his NHL debut.
