Jordan Kyrou trade buzz is real, and the Pittsburgh Penguins look like a Stanley Cup team again.

Nick Kypreos chatter has Kyrou open to “different scenarios” to chase a Cup, and that hits Pittsburgh’s radar.
Because Dubas has built a roster that plays fast, defends in layers, and actually finishes chances.
The Penguins are 29-15-12, sitting near the top of the Metro as the season turns to deadline mode.
They have not been perfect, but the recent stretch screams contender instead of treadmill team.
"Jordan Kyrou's been out there for the last little while; I also believe that he's open to looking at different scenarios on trying to win a Stanley Cup."

- Nick Kypreos
Kyrou is 27, drafted in 2016, Round 2, 35th overall by the St. Louis Blues.
He has 13-19-32 in 47 games this season, even in a down year by his standards.
That profile matters, because Pittsburgh’s top-six has been rolling but still needs another pure burner.
Kyrou gives you controlled entries, one-touch offense, and that quick-release threat off the weak side.

Jordan Kyrou can juice the Pittsburgh Penguins top-six

Penguins fans can feel it, this team suddenly looks like it can beat anybody in a seven-game grind.
Slide him next to Evgeni Malkin, or keep him with Sidney Crosby for a “pick your poison” matchup nightmare.
On the man advantage, his speed forces seams, and that helps the bumper and net-front plays open up.
The money is the hard part, Kyrou carries an $8.125M cap hit through 2030-31 and would need to waive trade protection.
Still, if Kyrou wants a Cup window and Pittsburgh keeps playing like this, Dubas has a bold fit staring him in the face.
