The Penguins are set to take on the Senators tonight, and in a unique fashion, they were caught playing a game of curling with their dads in Ottawa.

The Ottawa Senators return home to Canadian Tire Centre for a two-game stretch, starting Thursday against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Ottawa is coming off an exciting comeback win over the Winnipeg Jets on Monday, moving to 2-1-0 on its three-game road trip.

What Drake Batherson said the Senators need to do vs. the Penguins

Drake Batherson says the team needs to carry that energy into Thursday's game, especially against a Penguins squad that has struggled recently.
"We're in a spot too where we'd obviously like to win this game, so we've just got to be desperate in ourselves and want this game more than them," said Batherson.

"We've just got to keep going, take it one day at a time, and like to get some wins here on home ice."

Pittsburgh hasn't won since Dec. 4, though it has still picked up four points in overtime or shootout losses.
Despite the Penguins having a game in a few hours against the Senators, several players were spotted enjoying a rare off-ice moment in Ottawa, playing a game of curling with their fathers during the annual dads' trip.
It was a unique way for the team to bond and step away from the grind of the season.

Why the Penguins could be in tough vs. the Senators tonight

Ottawa has dominated recent matchups, going 6-0-1 in their last seven games against Pittsburgh and outscoring them 22-11. Claude Giroux has been key in those games, recording 11 points, all assists, the most he has against any single team.
In goal, Linus Ullmark will start on Thursday. He is undefeated in six games against Pittsburgh, with a .921 save percentage and a 2.71 goals-against average.
