The Penguins are off to a solid start in 2025/26, but recently, their players were asked to give their opinions on their teammates in a unique category: Hollywood.
The Pittsburgh Penguins weren't expected to do much in 2025/26, and while the season is still young, it appears as though the chemistry on this team is fantastic as they're off to a 2-2-0 start to the year.
With the likes of
Sidney Crosby on the team, there's always going to be competitive games throughout the year, and if they can get a lot out of their youth, there's no reason why they can't be a very fun team this season.
Penguins players give their takes on their teammates in Hollywood
Recently, the social media team switched it up however, asking Penguins players which of their teammates would be most successful in making the jump to Hollywood when their hockey careers come to an end.
There were many different answers, but the most consistent were two veteran names: Kris Letang and
Kevin Hayes, with
Erik Karlsson perhaps having the best line on his veteran blue line teammate.
Karlsson: Probably Kris Letang.
Social media manager: As an actor?
Karlsson: Sure, that or a cameraman.
That's not quite what people expect when they think of Hollywood, but given the charisma on several players in Pittsburgh, there's always a chance that after their hockey days, they can follow the likes of Sean Avery to the screens.
Ultimately, it's highly unlikely that any NHL players in the league are looking to make that transition after their careers are over, but either way, there were some very interesting answers given to the question by several Penguins players.
