Penguins' Rivals Place 7 Players on NHL Waivers - Kyle Dubas Must Act

A total of 38 players were placed on waivers today, with seven of those coming from division rivals of the Penguins, and there are some good names available.
38 players found themselves on the waiver wire today, seven of them from the division rivals of the Penguins.
The Washington Capitals waived four, the Philadelphia Flyers waived one, the Columbus Blue Jackets waived one, and the New York Rangers waived one.
That leaves Penguins president and GM Kyle Dubas to pick from a plethora of talent, including talents like Jaret Anderson-Dolan (Winnipeg Jets) and Jakob Pelletier (Tampa Bay Lightning).
Tyson Jost was Claimed off Waivers by the Nashville Predators
The biggest move of the day was made by the Nashville Predators, who snatched forward Tyson Jost off waivers from the Carolina Hurricanes.
This will be his fifth team on a journey that has not gone as planned since he was drafted 10th overall by the Colorado Avalanche in 2016.
Jost showed flashes of stability for Colorado with 45 goals and 103 points in 321 games as a sixth-pairing winger. But inconsistency landed him in a trade to Minnesota, Buffalo, and, most recently, Carolina.
And though there have been flashes of hope, such as his best underlying numbers last season with the Hurricanes, Jost still has not established a long-term role.
Now with Nashville, the 26-year-old will fight for a fourth-line position with the Predators. His skill and experience might be worth something as a depth forward if he can recall how to play.
With all the players stuck on waivers, there is more activity to come. In the near term, everyone will be watching Dubas to determine if he decides to act and bring in any of these players.
